This year we’re all focused on organic, sustainable living and if you’re looking for a green travel experience which allows you to experience a foreign culture in its most natural state then WWOOFing is for you.
The ‘World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms’ was set up in the UK in 1971 and now with the uprising in all things green they’re WWOOFing all over the world!
In return for volunteer help, WWOOF hosts on organic farms worldwide offer free food, accommodation and opportunities to learn about sustainable living.
After choosing from 6,000 hosts in 88 countries spanning North & Central America, South America, Europe-Middle East, Africa, or Asia-Pacific, you will live as part of the family – so long as you do your chores!
