Put Some Brazilian Flavour into NYE
If you’re not sure where to party on New Year’s Eve, why not try Favela Chic’s heady mix of Brazilian flavours.
‘Disorder and progress’ is what Favela Chic prides itself on, and this self-defined ‘collective, restaurant, menagerie, circus, bordello, concept, art space, club, sound, party, and bar’, is an entire Brazilian experience!
From the moment you walk into the Shoreditch venue, you’ll be taken aback by the masterfully designed eclectic décor; from its high ceilings and washed out walls, to lace dresses, and hula hoops hanging from the ceiling, as well as an old crate for a DJ booth. It’s northern Bahian culture crossed with Parisian chic, and best of all, they serve ice cold Cusquena, along with to-die-for Caipirinhas and a whole host of cocktails.
Favela Chic is regularly packed out by a real mixture of hipsters, young professionals, and homesick Latin Americans! It’s not just the drinks, but also the food and the music which provides the Latin flavour.
Their Bikini NYE party promises to ‘warm up your heart, soul and body’ as Gringo da Parada spins a kaleidoscope of traditional and cutting edge Brazilian music, and Deany Seagulls from Swap-a-rama displays his signature undressing skills on a specially designed Brazilian beach! Tickets are £15 in advance, £20 on the door.
