It works like this:

• You find out about Secret Cinema from someone (ahem – us) who knows what’s cool.
  
• You choose a date (this is about all you have control over).
  
• You wait.
  
• Secret Cinema lets you know where the screening will take place. From old farms to derelict theatres and rooftops, all you can be sure of is that the venue will be awesome.
  
• You will also be informed of the dress code. Every screening is themed to match the film, so be prepared to dress up like Bugsy Malone or an entity out of Aliens.
  
• You arrive and find out what film you are watching. The film probably won’t not star the latest Hollywood hottie, but will rather showcase an excellent, alternative piece of cinema.
  
• You might be surprised by some unexpected guests, delectable food stalls and even a light show or two.
  
• You’ll go home feeling super cool.
