London Pop-Ups
New quirky trends are constantly popping up around London – and the whole ‘pop -up’ phenomenon is no exception.
Pop-ups can be anything from a restaurant to a bar, club or shop that suddenly appears in an unexpected location, grabs our attention and then disappears before we can all lose interest – perfect for the 21st century attention span.
And now a hotel can be added to that list. With forewarning that it will only be around for one week in March, the World’s Smallest Pop-Up Hotel is bound to intrigue and entice London’s coolest.
This pop-up hotel is a collaboration between Radisson Edwardian Hotels and VisitLondon.com and definitely doesn’t mean you’ll be sleeping in a tent, but rather in a luxury American Airstream trailer that has been transformed into everything you would expect to from a fancy brick-and-mortar hotel. You’ll be greeted by your own dedicated concierge at the portable check-in desk and can order room service at any time. There will be a flat-screen TV to keep you entertained along with all the usual perks: state of the art sound system, luxurious bedding, bathroom filled with fancy products and, of course, the fully stocked mini bar.
But we haven’t got to the best part yet. The location.
The Pop-Up Hotel will be parked in front of a different London attraction every day. So you could wake up and pop to the London Zoo for breakfast or spend the evening ice skating at Alexandra Palace.
Ah. The catch. You can’t book your stay – you need to win it.
The Visit London Pop-Up Hotel is only open from the 15 – 19 March and entries close on the 7th to win a night’s stay.
