Go Hulk Yourself
Madame Tussauds has become an establishment in London, but there are only so many times you can stand next to an unmoving celeb and smile…
Until now. Forget the Royals or old presidents, the Marvel Super Heroes have arrived and we don’t know about you, but we’d much rather have a photo of Tony Stark than Tony Blair.
The new Marvel Super Heroes 4D (yes, that’s four D) exhibit in Baker Street has so much going on that it is hard to know where to start. So we suggest first heading to S.H.I.E.L.D (Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law-enforcement Division) to get a taste of just what goes on behind the scenes at a super hero command centre. Next is the Hall of Heroes where you can meet the likes of Wolverine, Spider-man and The Invisible Woman close up. But don’t just pause, take a photo and move on, each model is fully interactive and you can do things like “Hulk yourself” where you appear very, very big and very, very green.
Next stop is the Super Hero Test Area – a high tech lab where Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) makes himself ‘super’ with some of the most technologically advanced equipment you’ll ever see. But the best is most definitely saved for last as you head for the Marvel Super Heroes 4D Film – nine minutes of 360º high impact cinema. As all your favourite super heroes join forces to save London, you are pulled right into the heart of the action thanks to uber special effects like a smoking screen, a tremoring floor and so much more that we don’t want to ruin it for you.
Overall, we think it is just super.
